The Moonbeam Foundation is pleased to announce that the whitelist for Round Three of the Take Flight community event has been finalized.
For Round Three, the whitelist comprises community members who were not eligible for Round One or Round Two, but who have nevertheless shown both sincere interest in Take Flight and loyalty to the Moonbeam project. Since even these parameters included a wide swath of qualified individuals, the list was further shortened by using randomization in order to more fairly identify a cross-section of Moonbeam enthusiasts. While we acknowledge that this criteria means that not everyone who would like to participate will be able to do so, this was the fairest way to include as many community members as the event can reasonably support.
Included in the Round Three whitelist are individuals who:
- Submitted their email through the Telegram/Discord bot for the Take Flight whitelist and were subscribed to the Moonbeam Foundation’s email updates or the Moonbeam Network’s monthly newsletter as of August 13, 2021
- Participated (live) in Moonbeam’s Illuminate/21 event, a Moonbuilders workshop or a Moonbeam Universe event
While we wish we could whitelist everyone in our community, including the 50,000+ emails on the Moonbeam Network and Foundation subscription lists, it is not practically possible.
Please note that individuals who were known to be from countries prohibited from participating in the Take Flight event were not included in the Round Three whitelist. The whitelist for Round Three is final.
